"I love the Organix Coconut Oil and use it all the time for shine and to control frizz (I have very curly hair). I am also one who is constantly on the search for a great organic hair product. I wanted to love this product, but the product didn't love me back. I love the Organix Coconut Oil and use it all the time for shine and to control frizz (I have very curly hair). I am also one who is constantly on the search for a great organic hair product. I wanted to love this product, but the product didn't love me back.
I find when I use it (and yes, I am following directions), my hair comes out so tangled that I need to clean my hair brush after brushing it out. It also feels very dry and straw-like.
Since my hair is curly, I shampoo first in the shower and then put on a big handful of conditioner and leave it in my hair while I bathe. Rinsing out the conditioner is the last step I do before ending the shower. Since it's winter, I don't shampoo every day unless I've been to the gym. I have used this product without shampooing and it still dries out my hair. I have found this happens with a lot of organic conditioners, not just this one. I am thinking for curly hair, maybe all those chemicals in non-organic conditioners are best...even though I would rather use an organic product.
This product might work for people with thinner/straighter hair than mine. It does smell wonderful!!! "
