First of all, this developer does not contain all the preservatives, etc that other developers do. Just look on the label--there are only 2-3 ingredients. All other developers have many, many more than that. I have found that other developers make my hair dry and my scalp itchey. I am buying this because the last time my hairdresser used other developer my hair is dry and itchey! I had used this before but thought it didn't make a difference. BUT IT DOES!!!
