I've used GiGi products that required the wax warmer before and thought I was in love. But recently, my wax warmer has been giving me problems and I needed an alternative. While pricing wax warmers in Ricky’s the Gigi Brazilian Body Wax Kit caught my eye. Not only did it include sample sized pre and post waxing treatment, but the wax itself was microwaveable! That solved my warmer problem.
I bought the kit, went home and gave it a go. I had to microwave the wax a bit longer than recommended to get it melted. The green color of the wax threw me off for a bit since I’m used to the caramel –colored Brazilian wax, but it was fine. It applied very well and I grew to like the color because it showed up so well on my skin. (The caramel-colored wax camouflaged itself on my skin.) And boy did I love not having to buy strips! The wax dries thick and is easy to pull off. This wax is so effective that it can be used anywhere on the body. I use it on my face and on the lovely lady parts. I used all the treatments that came in the box and my skin was calmed (as much as it can be when one yanks hair from the follicle…lol) and baby soft afterwards. I highly recommend this product for affordably smooth skin! (Posted on 5/5/11)
