A neighborhood hair salon owner brought this product line to my attention, because she knows I like to wear my hair naturally curly--when I get my hair blown out (occasionally), my hair is always dry and dull. Until I tried this leave-in conditioner, I felt I had tried everything--gel, curling mousse, serum--to control the frizziness, but to no avail. Humidity turns my hair into a puffball! This conditioner is AWESOME--my curls look healthy and shiny. I plan to add the shampoo and conditioner to my regimen eventually, when I can afford to keep it up, but this leave-in conditioner has become a necessity. The company's website (MixedChicks.net) does offer a trial-pak which includes a sample-size of each ( the shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner), which I'd definitely recommend if you want to try out the trio before committing to the full-size versions. The price may be daunting but for people with really tight curls, this is a product that really works its magic and is worth the money. I've always had trouble finding a leave-in conditioner that defines my curls without making them feel hard or sticky, and after hearing good things from some friends, I tried it for myself. I was instantly addicted. You don't have to use very much with each application, so it's not like you'll run through the bottle very fast. I'm for sure a life-time customer of this product.
