You must re-seal the cuticle layer on your beautiful colour each time you wet your hair or hair colour will fade and look dull. Water oxidizes hair colour (that means it makes it fade) so you MUST go through the repair process each time you get hair wet by applying a small dollop of KELLY VAN GOGH  Colour Protecting Caviar Conditioner from root to end. If you don't repair the hair and prepare it for your next colouring each time you shampoo, your hair will not be a beautiful canvas for hair colour.
