TIP: Apply a little concealer around the border of your mouth to prevent bleeding. Apply a lip-liner that matches your lip color or exactly makes the lipstick.
With your mouth relaxed, start your color application by defining the cupid bow, moving the lipstick from the center upward and outward. Open your mouth wider, and draw the upper and lower lips from the corners to the center. In the corners, blend your color into the mouth, keeping it open. Add more lipstick to the center of your lips with long strokes in different directions. For a more festive look, apply lip gloss in the middle of the lips. Ensure your lip color does not extend beyond the contour, especially in the corners, and that there are no traces of lip color on your teeth. After applying, put your finger in your mouth, purse your lips around it, then slowly pull it out to remove excess color.
